John Perrotta has been making New England laugh for over 40 years. He got his start in 1983 and went on to perform at legendary clubs including Nick's Comedy Stop, Stitches, the Comedy Connection, Dangerfield's, and the Gotham Comedy Club in New York City — sharing the stage along the way with Bill Burr, Dane Cook, Colin Quinn, Lenny Clarke, and Jimmie "JJ" Walker.
In 2008 he was voted Rhode Island's Funniest Comic in the Providence Phoenix Reader's Poll. In 2017 he closed for national headliner Tammy Pescatelli at the prestigious Friars Club in New York City — and just months later, opened for Bill Burr in front of 2,000 people at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom. Not a bad year.
Now entering his 40th year performing stand-up, John brings that same passion, energy, and sharp wit to every room he walks into. Don't miss your chance to see him live on the South Shore.
