The Italian-American Cultural Organization (IACO) of the South Shore was founded in 2006 by a group of like-minded men and women from the South Shore of Boston. IACO is an Italian culture group that fosters a greater awareness about the Italian culture.

IACO meetings celebrate the richness and diversity of Italian culture through engaging presentations by Italians and Italian-Americans. Speakers include authors, genealogists, artists, artisans, musicians, and other cultural experts who share their knowledge, stories, and passions. We also feature carefully selected documentaries on a wide range of topics, designed to educate, inspire, and deepen appreciation for our heritage.

Please visit our Events Page for more information.

South Shore communities include Abington, Avon, Braintree, Bridgewater, Brockton, Cohasset, East Bridgewater, Easton, Hanover, Hanson, Hingham, Marshfield, Norwell, Pembroke, Quincy, Randolph, Rockland, Scituate, West Bridgewater, Weymouth, Whitman
